Loretta Brunetti
Loretta
is the CEO and Co-Founder of Family of Humanity, Inc. Ms.
Brunetti is a certified Health Realization Trainer and has
over fifteen years experience in developing and implementing
community programs in South Florida. During the fifteen years
in her field, Loretta has cultivated a strong sense for developing
programs and executing them. Her extensive training has allowed
her to be in tuned with the needs of the community, identify
problem areas and find ways to address them. She is a role
model to all the students in the programs she has implemented
and is a community activist in the low income areas she is
passionate about.
Tania Reynolds
Tania
is the Marketing Manager of Family of Humanity; Inc. Tania
holds a first degree in Management and Economics (Hon.) from
the University of the West Indies, JA. and an MBA in International
Business from Florida International University. She has over
10 years experience in the corporate world with companies
like IBM, Burger King Corporation, Kodak and Air Jamaica Ltd.
Tania has gained knowledge and skill in many areas of business
particularly marketing, brand management, finance, sales,
project management, and franchise sales and recruitment.
In 2004 Tania was appointed Chairperson for the Mentorship
Programs; Big Brothers Big Sisters and Kids and the Power
of Work Program (KAPOW) while at Burger King Corporation.
In 1995 she was awarded the Premier Award for Outstanding
Community Service and Leadership at the University of the
West Indies. This was the top award given by the University
that year. Since then Tania has been involved in numerous
outreach programs throughout her career.
Anna Teixeira
Anna Teixeira is the Program Manager for Family of Humanity Inc. Anna graduated from Otis-Parsons College of Art and Design in Los Angeles with a Bachelors of Fine Arts. She was born into a family of community activists, so her experience began at an early age. Anna has organized fellow students in East Los Angeles around social and civil rights issues, and has grown in experience over the past 16 years to include working with families and communities form diverse backgrounds and cultures. Anna believes that art is an integral tool for expanding the mind, healing the heart, and spreading ides of change. She strives to make art accessible to the community by incorporating it into her work using a holistic, life-therapy approach.
Cindy Paillant
Cindy is a Program Educator for Family of Humanity Inc. Cindy graduated Nova South Eastern University with a Masters of Science in Marriage and Family Counseling. She is a dedicated counselor with over 5 years of experience in family, individual, group and couples therapy. She is skilled in working with children, teens, and adults from diverse backgrounds. Cindy has successfully facilitated numerous psycho-educational groups and empowerment workshops with a mission to assist in the empowerment of women and men everywhere.
Michelle Manley
Michelle is the educator and facilitator for the Teen Development & Growth program. Michelle graduated from Nova Southeastern University with a Master of Science in Conflict Resolution and Analysis and is currently a 2nd year doctoral student at NSU studying Marriage and Family therapy. She is a dedicated educator and facilitator with over 5 years experience working with children, teens, and adults from diverse backgrounds. Michelle’s eclectic background in working with groups include: career development, mediation, domestic violence issues, conflict coaching, family counseling, leadership development, and in with diversion programs. Michelle’s primary interest in life is to rebuild community’s one family at a time.
Patricia Parron
Patricia Parron-Tenacio is the Program Reading Specialist for Family of Humanity. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from Florida International University as well as a Masters Degree in Reading from the same school. Patricia has taught for both Miami-Dade Public Schools and Broward Public Schools teaching various elementary grades as well as coordinating literacy programs as a Reading Specialist. She taught elementary reading as an adjunct professor at F.I.U. prior to living abroad in Spain for six years. Patricia has successfully facilitated the literacy segment of the HUG Program and enjoys working with children strengthening literacy skills and instilling the love of literature.
Staff:
Class educators and coordinators hold BA, BS, and MSW degrees
in social work and education and are trained in child behavior
discipline methods, family therapy, domestic violence, child
abuse and neglect, group facilitation, CPR, First Aid and
HIV/AIDS. Consultants specially trained and experienced in
their skill conduct specialized workshops. Volunteers are
recruited from Florida International University and Nova University
and assist with classroom/workshop activities and program
fundraising/special events.
