Family of Humanity, Inc. is a growing 501 (c) 3 tax-exempt n onprofit community-based organization with a passion for individuals living in low income communities. The organization operates a youth, teenage and parent program in various communities located in Broward County to promote positive change in youth and families of the community. We provide after-school enrichment programs for low income youth and teenagers which include various art disciplines, social competency and pro-social behavior development skills, self-esteem improvement, positive self-image development, career opportunities and employment skills, and literacy. The parent education program is offered to low income parents equipping them with tools to increase their knowledge of child development and to foster positive parenting strategies and parenting skills.

What we do is so unique due to the small size of each program; 10-12 students per class, offering our programs in the areas where our clients live and most importantly; offering all our programs to our clients in the three programs we provide free of cost to families eliminating the need to pay tuition and program fees while at the same time providing growth and learning opportunities.

Programs:

In addition to providing 3 diverse programs to our clients in low income areas for free, the Health Realization Model Concept is adopted and incorporated into all of our programs as a method of teaching our clients. The concept is a principle based psychology that sees people as “at promise” instead of “at risk” and helps them recognize the health within themselves.

Training and development seminars are offered to corporations of all types and sizes as well as agencies of all kinds, including government.

We offer this training as a development seminar to the general public, government agencies and businesses as an earned income piece in an effort to expand our cause to empower even more individuals.
